What is CEREC?

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. It is a system that allows us to quickly and economically restore damaged teeth using a durable ceramic material that matches the natural color of your surrounding teeth.

How does CEREC work?

CEREC uses computer-aided design (CAD-CAM) technology to custom-fabricate your restoration based on a pinpoint accurate optical impression of your tooth. With CEREC technology, there is no need to take a traditional impression of your tooth and send it to a lab. A CEREC restoration can be performed in a single office visit – often in about an hour.
